1. Automatic Machine

An automatic machine requires some degree of human intervention during its operation. While automatic machine automates many tasks, automatic machine still needs the operator to perform certain functions, such as loading, unloading, or adjusting settings. These machines can be semi-automatic or may involve manual steps before or after the automated process.
Example: A semi-automatic machine where workers need to load materials but the automatic machine does the rest of the processing.

2. Fully Automatic Machine

A fully automatic machine operates with minimal or no human intervention once it’s set up. It performs all functions automatically from start to finish. The operator's role is limited to overseeing the process or performing maintenance when necessary. These machines are designed for high-volume production and efficiency, making them ideal for large-scale operations.
Example: A fully automatic machine assembly line that automatically handles loading, processing, and unloading without any manual involvement.

Summary:

  • Automatic machines still require some human input.
  • Fully automatic machines operate independently with minimal human involvement.
